Thank you!

We are formally launching our new platform, MixMobi.com, this week.  In spite of the flurry of activity a launch demands, here’s a post of gratitude for everyone who has made MixMobi.com possible.

thank youFirst, I thank co-founder, Kelly Heikkila (@k2heikkila).  Kelly’s keen intelligence, market savvy, rigor, sense of humor and diligence are outstanding.  MixMobi would just be another idea scribbled on a napkin without him.  He is truly Jeeves to my Bertie.

In the Beginning…

Next, thanks to mobile marketing peers without whose prodding I wouldn’t have driven to create a better mobile offer platform.  The guys at Launch Media, Tony Frank, Doug Thompson and Scott Thomsen, were there at the very beginning.  They are also among our first customers, and we are grateful for their partnership.

As We Built It

ComputerIn creating, demoing and testing the concept last summer and fall, so many people were thoughtful, challenging, supportive and collaborative.  (Where not supplied, Twitter IDs equal first plus last name.)  Special thanks to:

Beta customers Casey Collins and Becky Hirn at Sprout (@sproutdeals)

Minnov8’s Phil Wilson (@philson)

Jen Kane (@JenKaneCo) and Kary Delaria (@KaryD), Jen Kane Consulting

Lynsey Struthers and John Lawlor, The Lawlor Group

Justin Grammens, Breon Nagy (@Breon) and all the brainy mobile developers we networked with at Mobile Twin Cities

Carlos Abler (@Carlos_Abler) and the team at AKR who created outstanding videos that convey the MixMobi concept

SMBMSP’s infectiously enthusiastic Rick Mahn and Mykl Roventine

Keith Privette, Target Business Analyst and social megapresence

Chris Wexler, Online Media at Campbell Methun

Among many virtual friends, Mark Schaefer (@markwschaefer) continues to be both an inspiration and a valued supporter

Finally, particular thanks to two who thoughtfully suggested MixMobi features now in production: Brian Evans (@iqevans) from IQ Marketing suggested a mobile presence.  Jesse Stremcha (@stremcha) urged us to add a “Compare” feature to make A/B testing across channels even easier.

Behind the Scenes

backstageTaking risks requires big support.  Brad Roberts is both the mobile wiz who makes sure MixMobi works for every mobile device, AND the best husband I could ask for.  Family, including my brother, John, and friends like Kathleen and Melissa, supply the best pep talks an entrepreneur ever had.

Futures

We’re inspired by the imaginative ways people are already using MixMobi, many of them unforeseen.  As we launch and look forward to growth, I am deeply appreciative to have worked with and had the support of so many talented, bright, hard working people while creating this first version MixMobi.  Thank you.
